Southern Oceans Education Holiday Program

Duration:  1.5 hours for up to 40 children (add half an hour per extra 30 children)

Cost *:       Minimum of $280 Inc. GST - $7 Inc. GST per student

                  A large number of students may incur a discount. (* Prices accurate as at January 2012)

Southern Ocean Education is a mobile incursion where the marine life is brought to you. A great way to learn about the marine environment and save on transport costs.

The program is unique, fun and a Hands On experience into the mysterious world of marine life.  

Why go to the beach when we can bring it to you? A marine education officer will amaze the children with a vast and diverse array of marine specimens.  

Preserved specimens such as whale bones, shark jaws, a green sea turtle, porcupine fish, sea horse, octopus, shells, coral, and crab exoskeletons are just some of the things the children will be able to see and touch.

 A live animal “touch tank” will enthrall the children, with the opportunity to handle live sea stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, crabs, sea squirts and more.
